What is this Chonicle?

If you're diminutive Chronicle editor Jeff Cohen, how do you know if you've finally fired too many essential staffers (say, copy editors and web editors)?

Here is a a pretty good rule of thumb: If nobody caught the fact that you misspelled the name of your newspaper, that's a good sign you've fired too many essential journalists.
