HPD to begin PIT maneuver training?
KRIV-26's Isiah Carey reports from unnamed sources that HPD is planning to train some officers on the PIT maneuver, a method of terminating chases by which the pursuing vehicle positions itself to force the fleeing vehicle to turn and lose control (and stop).
Here's hoping this bit of news means that Chief Hurtt's ill-conceived plans to implement a no-chase policy have been put on hold permanently.
