The religion of peace confuses some professional journalists

The Chronicle recently ran this entertaining correction:

A story on Page B1 Sunday gave incorrect information about Ramadan. The Muslim holy month is not held during a fixed time each year as was reported in the story, but instead cycles 10 days earlier each year, based on the Muslim calendar.

Whoops!

That's yet another reason to add Mark Steyn to the Chronicle's stable of columnists. Even though he makes a joke of it, he really does know the timing of Ramadan.
