METRO bus hits downtown pedestrian
The KHOU-11 news blog reports that a METRO bus has struck a pedestrian (again):
A mother and daughter were crossing the street when the 67-year-old mom was struck by a Metro bus at the intersection of Fannin and Congress around 10 a.m.The victim was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Two witnesses at the scene report the women were crossing with the light when then accident occurred.
Metro said the bus driver would be cited for failure to yield the right of way.
Be careful out there, people. Especially if you see any vehicle with the METRO logo.
