Coogs win home opener; AP covers story for Chron
UH opened its home basketball season this afternoon:

Oliver Lafayette scored a team-high 29 points to lead the Houston Cougars to an 89-80 win over the visiting Monmouth Hawks on Saturday.
It's nice that Chron.com has the story covered via the Associated Press.
That is world class.
UPDATE (11-20-2006): Michael Murphy emails that Dale Robertson covered the game for the Chronicle. The AP coverage was simply a placeholder on Chron.com until the Robertson story was ready to go. That's very good to hear, actually, and an update I'm pleased to make!
